Despite fully embracing American collegiate traditions and sports culture, the Indian diaspora found itself targeted by xenophobic rhetoric and political smear campaigns.

We dissect the hypocrisy behind these cultural controversies, how sports culture intersects with immigrant identity, and why the rhetoric isn't about integration—it's about division.
