అంతర్జాతీయ విద్యార్థులు అమెరికాలో పని చేసుకోవడానికి ఉపయోగపడే OPT (Optional Practical Training) పై ట్రంప్ ప్రభుత్వం ఏకంగా $70,000 భారీ ఫీజును, రిన్యూవల్ కోసం మరో $30,000 జరిమానాను ప్రతిపాదించింది.

The Trump administration has proposed a devastating $70,000 fee for international students to participate in OPT, plus a $30,000 renewal penalty. This is a direct, unfiltered message to my fellow Indian-Americans who came to this country through the exact same legal ladder: F-1 ➡️ OPT ➡️ H-1B ➡️ Green Card ➡️ US Citizenship.

If you now support this rule or endorse the politics of shut-out, I ask you a tough but necessary question: What is the difference between you and the person who burns the boat after crossing the river?

Many of us started with just a few hundred dollars and a dream. Yet today, some of our own community members are defending policies that would have killed their own American journey before it even started.
