In this video, I share the incredible and inspiring story of 21-year-old Surendra Singh Choudhary (Bittu Tabahi) from Madhya Pradesh, who took it upon himself to single-handedly clean up an entire polluted river despite facing snakes, infections, and immense hardship.

Seeing his courage got me thinking about our own everyday apathy. Why do we ignore the dirt around us—whether in our rivers or in toxic political discourse? In this conversation, I also address recent viewer comments questioning why a university professor speaks like an unfiltered "common man," my candid thoughts on the current US political climate, the high-stakes Texas Senate race, and why staying silent right now simply isn't an option.
