“The Tallest Tree”: Why Indian Americans Are Targeted. 2024 నాటి అంచనా నిజమైంది!

డిసెంబర్ 2024లోనే నేను ఈ విషయాన్ని స్పష్టంగా హెచ్చరించాను. పిడుగు ఎప్పుడూ నేలబారున ఉన్నవాటి మీద పడదు… అందరికంటే ఎత్తుగా ఉన్న చెట్టు (The Tallest Tree) పైనే పడుతుందని ఆనాడే చెప్పాను. అమెరికా సెన్సస్ డేటా చూస్తే, సగటు అమెరికన్ కుటుంబ ఆదాయం కంటే రెండింతల కంటే ఎక్కువ సంపాదిస్తూ భారతీయ సమాజమే ఆ ‘ఎత్తైన చెట్టు’గా నిలిచింది. చరిత్ర చూసినా—1980ల నాటి శ్రీలంక అయినా, 1930ల నాటి జర్మనీ అయినా—విపరీతమైన ఎదుగుదల ఎప్పుడూ అసూయను, ద్వేషాన్ని తెచ్చిపెడుతుందని గుర్తుచేశాను.

నాడు నేను చెప్పినప్పుడు చాలామంది లైట్ తీసుకున్నారు. కానీ కట్ చేస్తే… సరిగ్గా రెండేళ్ల తర్వాత నేడు పరిస్థితి ఎలా మారిందో చూడండి. ఆనాడు పాడ్‌కాస్ట్‌లలో సన్నాయి నొక్కులతో మాట్లాడిన వాళ్లే, నేడు నేరుగా "The Indian Question" అంటూ బహిరంగ చర్చలకు తెరలేపారు. నేను ఊహించినట్టే ఆ ద్వేషపూరిత ధోరణి నేడు మెరుపులు, ఉరుములతో ముందుకు వచ్చింది. నాడు నేను చేసిన విశ్లేషణ ఎలా నిజమైందో, భవిష్యత్తులో మనం ఎందుకు అప్రమత్తంగా ఉండాలో ఈ వీడియోలో వివరించాను.

Back in December 2024, I warned everyone about what was brewing. I said it plainly: lightning always strikes the tallest tree first. Looking at the income data, Indian Americans stood as that tallest tree—earning more than double the median American household. History from 1980s Sri Lanka to 1930s Germany showed us time and again that disproportionate prosperity inevitably draws envy, resentment, and scapegoating.

People brushed it aside back then. Yet fast forward to today, and the rhetoric has escalated exactly as anticipated—from veiled comments about "dealing with margins" to mainstream figures openly discussing "the Indian question." I called this shift years ago, and while it isn't time to panic, the clouds I pointed out back then are now bringing rain and thunder. Watch as I revisit that December 2024 warning and unpack how every piece of this prediction played out.
