H-1B Issues? Trusting the Influencers? హెచ్-1 వీసా పోయినా, గ్రీన్‌కార్డ్ రాకున్నా నిజాయితీ వీడలేదు!

అమెరికాలో తాత్కాలిక పని వీసాపై ఉన్నప్పుడు, ఉద్యోగం ఇచ్చే సంస్థ దయాదాక్షిణ్యాలపై, పెండింగ్‌లో ఉన్న ఇమ్మిగ్రేషన్ పిటిషన్‌‌పైనే మన భవిష్యత్తు ఆధారపడి ఉంటుంది. దశాబ్దాల క్రితం, నా హెచ్-1 (H-1) వీసా కొనసాగుతూ, గ్రీన్‌కార్డ్ ప్రక్రియ నడుస్తున్న అత్యంత కీలకమైన సమయంలో నా జీవితంలోనే అతిపెద్ద నైతిక పరీక్షను ఎదుర్కొన్నాను.

నా కళ్ళ ముందే సంస్థలో జరుగుతున్న స్పష్టమైన మోసాలు, అక్రమ విధానాలను నేను గుర్తించాను. ఆ సమయంలో నా ముందు రెండు మార్గాలు మాత్రమే ఉన్నాయి: ఏమీ తెలియనట్లు తలదించుకుని మౌనంగా ఉండి నా గ్రీన్‌కార్డ్ సాధించుకోవడం, లేదా నా ఆత్మగౌరవం కోసం నిజం వైపు నిలబడటం. మౌనంగా ఉంటే నా ఇమ్మిగ్రేషన్ భవిష్యత్తు సురక్షితంగా ఉండేది. కానీ మాట్లాడితే నా ఉద్యోగం, వీసా స్టేటస్, అమెరికాలో నా భవిష్యత్తు అన్నీ ఒక్క క్షణంలో తలకిందులయ్యే ప్రమాదం ఉంది.

అయినా సరే, నేను నా నిజాయితీ వైపే నిలబడాలని నిర్ణయించుకున్నాను.

ఆ మోసానికి తలొగ్గకుండా నిలదీశాను. తప్పుడు పనుల్లో భాగం కావడానికి తిరస్కరించాను. ఆ నిర్ణయం నా వీసా ప్రక్రియపై తీవ్ర ప్రభావం చూపింది, ఎన్నో ఇబ్బందులు, అనిశ్చితిని ఎదుర్కోవాల్సి వచ్చింది. కానీ నా జీవితంలో ఎప్పుడూ ఆ నిర్ణయం పట్ల చింతించలేదు. ఈ వీడియోలో, నాడు నేను ఎదుర్కొన్న సవాళ్లు, కోల్పోయిన అవకాశాలు, వీసా కోసం ఆత్మగౌరవాన్ని తాకట్టు పెట్టకూడదని నేర్చుకున్న పాఠాలను మీతో పంచుకుంటున్నాను.

When you are on a temporary work visa in the United States, your entire future hangs on the discretion of your employer and an ongoing immigration petition. Decades ago, when I was navigating the H-1 visa system with my green card petition actively in process, I faced the hardest ethical test of my life.

I discovered blatant unethical practices and fraudulent conduct unfolding right in front of me. I had two clear choices: keep my head down, look the other way, and secure my immigration path, or take an uncompromising stand for the truth. Choosing silence would have guaranteed an easy road to permanent residency, but speaking out meant risking everything—my visa status, my job security, and my family’s future in this country.

I chose my integrity.

I stood firm against the fraud, refused to become complicit, and blew the whistle. The immediate fallout was brutal. I faced severe setbacks, career turbulence, and immense uncertainty surrounding my legal status. Yet looking back, standing up for what was right was the single best decision I ever made. In this video, I share the unvarnished reality of what happened, the price I paid, and why holding onto your principles is worth more than any immigration paper.
