In this video, I break down my recent appearance on ETV’s primetime show Pratidhwani, where I joined the panel to analyze the proposed US visa and immigration changes. I discussed the severe financial impact of the proposed $70,000 to $100,000 fee hikes on foreign students using OPT and professionals on H-1B visas. During the broadcast, I shared my perspective as a university faculty member on how these policies are being turned into political talking points, and I evaluated whether these proposals can realistically survive challenges in federal court.
