We both believe that the facts, historical or contemporary, do not support the argument for division among Telugu people. This Telangana separatist movement is fueled more by hate-mongering by vested interest groups than it has any factual basis. When when some facts are valid, they are either accidental, or twisted – but definitely not due to evil-design by the people of one region. FYI, Chakravarthy hails from Nagonda disrtict and I hail from the neighboring Guntur district.

Thank you to all of you who took the time to respond to my note. This is a difficult and emotional issue for all Telugu people and the passion is quite understandable. I obviously cannot answer every comment that is posted, but I will try to clarify my position on some of the specific questions that were raised.

My Telangana

నేను తెలంగాణావాదినే. నా తెలంగాణ కోసం నేను ఏం చేయడానికైనా సిద్దమే. కానీ ప్రత్యేక, వేర్పాటువాదిని కాదు. నాకు ధమ్ముంది. ఆంద్ర పెత్తనం నా ముందు పనిచేయదు. ఆంధ్రవాడి మీద నేనే ఎదురు పెత్తనం చేయగల చేవ ఉంది. నేను మీసం మెలేసి.. తొడగొట్టి మరీ చెబుతా… తెలంగాణ మీల్స్ అని ఆంద్రలో హోటల్ పెట్టి మరీ అమ్మగలను.నా తెలంగాణను ఈ లుచ్చాల చేతిలో పెట్టడం నాకు ఇష్టం లేదు. మరో.. నిజాం పాలన నాకొద్దు. నా తెలుగు జాతి ఉమ్మడి సొత్తుతో ఇద్దరేసి ముఖ్య మంత్రులను.. పదుల సంఖ్యలో మంత్రులను మేపడం.. నా జాతి సొత్తు ఎక్కువమంది నాయకులకు దోచిపెట్టడం నాకు ఏమాత్రం ఇష్టం లేదు.

Why Telugu Land is Called Andhra Pradesh? (Restored)

There is no conspiracy behind calling ourselves Andhras. We all are Andhras, we all are Telingis, and we all are Telugus. The new definition of Andhra to represent Kosta and the new definition of Telangana to represent nine districts of Nizam Telangana is a fabrication of politicians intending to create a wedge between the Telugu tribe.
