ఈ వీడియోలో నా రక్తం మరిగిపోయేలా చేసిన Maine కాల్పుల దారుణం గురించి మాట్లాడాను. లీగల్ వర్క్ పర్మిట్ తో అమెరికాలో ఉంటున్న 25 ఏళ్ల కొలంబియన్ యువకుడు యువాన్ సెబాస్టియన్ గెర్రెరోను ఐస్ (ICE) ఏజెంట్ అత్యంత కిరాతకంగా ఆరు రౌండ్లు కాల్చి చంపాడు. అంతటితో ఆగకుండా, వెనక సీట్లో కూర్చున్న అతని మూడేళ్ల పసి కూతురు చూస్తుండగానే, రక్తమోడుతున్న అతని మృతదేహాన్ని కారులోంచి బయటకు లాగి చేతులకు బేడీలు వేశారు. కారులో పసిపాప ఉందని తెలిసీ, కదులుతున్న వాహనంపై కాల్పులు జరపడం ఏ రకమైన చట్టమో అర్థం కావడం లేదు.

In this video, I address the horrifying incident in Maine that has had my blood boiling all week: the brutal killing of 25-year-old Colombian immigrant Juan Sebastian Guerrero by ICE. He was legally present in the United States on a valid work permit, yet an ICE agent fired six shots at close range into his vehicle, dragging his lifeless body onto the road and handcuffing him right before the eyes of his terrified three-year-old daughter. There is zero legal justification for firing into a turning vehicle, an reckless act that endangered a toddler and completely violated basic law enforcement standards.

I expose the shooter, ICE agent David Bruillet, who was recruited without proper vetting despite a documented history of severe mental health issues, violent temper, and domestic abuse. Bruillet's own ex-wife came forward revealing how he begged her to cover up his past abuse, admitting that he had a PTSD episode, went into fight-or-flight mode, and murdered an innocent man. Instead of accountability, DHS briefly paused shooting at moving vehicles only for Trump to override it within 24 hours at the urging of hardliners. Between the billions funnelled into ICE, the feigned concern from Senator Susan Collins, and right-wing media deflecting blame onto the victim, this tragedy lays bare the cruel, dehumanizing reality of unchecked state violence.
