In this conversation with Professor Murali, we tackled the deep political irony surrounding Harmeet Dhillon. We analyzed how Dhillon spent years enabling and aligning with extreme, xenophobic elements in American politics—only to be targeted by those very same forces and labeled a "Paperwork American." We broke down the hypocrisy of her playing the victim after actively empowering racist rhetoric, and examined the broader reality facing Indian-Americans in Washington who try to win acceptance from groups that will never truly see them as equals.
