I explained to Kiran the profound hypocrisy of Graham’s legislative legacy—championing anti-LGBTQ laws while living a private life that was an open secret in Washington.

The bulk of our conversation focused on the bizarre situation in Kentucky regarding Mitch McConnell. With an August 3rd deadline looming, Kiran and I analyzed why Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear is demanding "proof of life," and why the photos released by McConnell’s office holding a newspaper are highly suspicious and likely staged. I shared my theory that McConnell may be brain dead or severely incapacitated, and we had a heated debate on the desperate need for term limits to stop octogenarian politicians from clinging to power at the expense of the country.
