*** Sorry. I have a bit of a sore throat today. Can’t speak without coughing. So, I cannot do live show. Srinivas and Jaya have kindly agreed to substitute. I am sure they have a good one in store for you. ****
Perhaps one of the most frequently visited ‘topics’ by TORi RJs is, “Which is better – arranged marriage or love marriage?” Like everybody, I too have an opinion about it. However, I avoided discussing this topic on my shows. For, it is a complicated topic. My off-beat thinking gives less credence to heart and places more value on practical approach. I will leave the debate to youth, which claim to be an expert on this subject (joke, folks, joke) and leave you with these pensive thoughts about love in general.
This is a conversation I had with Praneetha on her 07/07/2011 TORi show. Feel free to comment.

Mohan garu, What do u mean by top 5 needs??? Can I take them as material needs such as property, job or what ever!! I mean the temporary things in life such as money?? What if, after getting married, the other person loses his/her money? loses his job?? If the top 5 needs are temporary ones, I do not agree with your statement that at least 3 of them must be satisfied..
If you listen to my other podcast, it is explained in more detail. Here is a quick snapshot of some of the important needs identified by Willard Harley, author of the book, ‘His Needs, Her Needs.” Of course, this is based on Christian Fellowship. However, even though I am areligious I will not argue with this list.
His Top 5
1. Sexual Fulfillment
2. Recreational Companionship
3. An Attractive Spouse
4. Domestic Support
5. Admiration
Her Top 5
1. Affection
2. Conversation
3. Honesty (or) Openness
4. Financial Support
5. Family Commitment.
