Bret Baier’s Shameful Interview

I watch a lot of hosts conduct interviews with a lot of guests because

  1. I have a keen interest on the subject, or
  2. I want to know what the guest thinks,
  3. I want to see how the guest responds or how he/she reacts to tough questions, or
  4. How the host conducts himself (fairness, thinking on the feet, follow-up questions)

FixNew is a mockery of journalism. They have an agenda and they sell it to their consumers 24/7.  Bret Baier of Fox has recently outdone even some of the most idiotic loud-mouths on that network.

I for one have no respect for George W. Bush. If I ever get to talk to President Bush, I would not be confrontational nor will I interrupt him while he is talking.  For, I respect the Office of the President. What  Bret Baier has demonstrated in this interview is nothing but utter contempt for Obama and insulted the Office of the President. Tough questions are just fine. But talking over the President by interrupting so often, is despicable.

Contrast his President Obama interview with President Bush interview.

His tone with Bush: “Do you believe, as I believe, you are an awesome President?”

His tone with Obama: “Yo, black man, what are you doing in our White House?”

Obama should have stopped when interrupted. Which would have made Bret look like an idiot.

  2. Gee, this is atrocious. Fox do this all the time, but doing it with the President is despicable to say the least.
