Its Official HTC Evo 4G will be on sale June 4th 2010
Finally a super phone on Sprint that eats any phone for breakfast on specs alone. Not to mention the added Adobe flash support, 8 mega pixel camera and a whopping 4.3 inch screen. For starters, Sprint is the only carrier offering a 4G network in the US, which is 5 times (at least) faster than 3G.
Chicago, Atlanta, Philadelphia …. have the 4G right now and by the end of 2010 we will see 4G in NYC, D.C , San Francisco….
I am getting ready for this one.
Check the specs at Sprint website.
Are you excited ? want to jump the ship ? good bye to your iPhone/Blackberry/Droid/Palm Pre/Nokia?
Comments please !!
I was excited when I saw the news but 4G is not awailable in my area. I don’t understand why sprint made 10 bucks extra per month on dataplan. Top of every thing, I don’t want to pay 30 bucks for hot spot facility which is free on preplus from verizon. I will wait for a while for this phone. I don’t need touchstone since I bought extended battery from seidon. I get more than double power than regular battey. 🙂
Agree, that 10 dollar extra charge will backfire. Sprint removed it , then added back. My only beef is , not having an optional GSM slot (I demand too much). Which makes it a universal phone. We are getting 4G soon. So I am excited. My Pre is just fine though. I might hold till the price falls down.
KP garu ,
What do you say ? ready to say good bye to Pre ?
We need to hook Mohan garu on this one.
BTW , Touchstone is on sale at Radioshack for 19.99, I just grabbed three of them.
