In this video, I present a strong thesis on why global sentiment has turned against Donald Trump's America, put on stark display by two massive recent crowd events in Albania and Somalia.

First, I dive into the fascinating "Flamingo Revolution" in Albania. This massive movement—which has drawn eleven continuous days of protests in the capital—is a direct backlash against Jared Kushner and Ivanka Trump's plans to build luxury resorts on the pristine Sazan Island. I break down Ivanka Trump's recent, highly tone-deaf podcast interview about "discovering" this location. Her seemingly excited delivery and fancy vocabulary eerily echo the out-of-touch French nobility right before the French Revolution. While this movement certainly taps into local resentment against the Albanian government, it is undoubtedly a powerful protest against Trump's cronies and the corruption associated with the administration he heads.

Next, I look at the striking situation in Somalia, where a celebrated Somali native and FIFA soccer referee was recently denied entry into the United States for the World Cup. When he returned to the capital city of Mogadishu, he did not return quietly; instead, he received a massive hero's welcome from tens of thousands of people.
