Nissan LEAF 100% Eletric Car

Nissan is jumping to the electric cars thing. While this is not exactly a “surprise” news. I got little more details about their new car “LEAF” from their website. The best part of this car is the torque. 100% of the torque is available at the 0 RPM. i.e. you don’t have to press the pedal hard when its loaded with five adults , you simply got all that pulling power with a small tap of the pedal.

Q: how much torque does the leaf have?
A: The exact specs of the LEAF are still under development. It does, however, have 100% torque at 0 RPM!

Check the video with five adults which includes Nissan CEO Carlos Ghosn and Junichiro Koizumi the ex Japanese Prime Minister riding it to the stage.
