  2. Ramana garu – The situation in AP is a real travesty. In March 2001, Taliban destroyed the the 1500 year old Buddha statues using dynamites. UNESCO adopted a resolution condemning the cultural destruction in any country. What a shame, that a similar incident happened in 2011 in AP

Here is a piece of the UNESCO resolution, lets see what action will be taken on the these in AP.

“A State that intentionally destroys or intentionally fails to take appropriate measures to prohibit, prevent, stop, and punish any intentional destruction of cultural heritage of great importance for humanity, whether or not it is inscribed on a list maintained by UNESCO or another international organization, bears the responsibility for such destruction, to the extent provided for by international law. ”

  4. corrections to typo:

It is the same mistake done in Europe by the then leaders about Hitler in late 1930s! Anyone know why world war II happened?

  5. This is a glimpse of what is going to happen if the state will ever be divided. The problem is, it looks like, politicians who wan the state united are not seizing on the moment to get all those responsible to put behind bars and prosecute them. In fact those responsible, directly are indirectly, for this heinous act should never be allowed to grow as leaders or politicians and should be barred for their life to participate in elections. If you don’t bring those did this to justice, they will be heroes in certain echelons of the region and they rule the roost.

This should be used by all who want the state united, to make those who want it separated to realize the folly in the thinking of separating and it’s consequences. In stead what I am seeing is that many are trying to cool it down and trying to condone this as a one time act. It is the same mistake done in Europe by the then leader about Hitler in late 1030s! Anyone know why world war II happened?
