తుపాకులు అవసరమా?
రేడియో తరంగాలో చక్రవర్తి నలమోతు గారి కార్యక్రమం – “స్వేచ్చ వాదం” లో, మార్చి 22 వ తారీఖున ప్రజలు తుపాకుల యజమానులవ్వడంలో గల లాభాలను భేరీజు వేశారు. అందుకు ఏవేవో గణాంకాలు నెమరవేశారు. వెరసి – అమెరికా దేశం లోని ఎంతో పలుకుబడి ఉన్న gun lobby ప్రచారం చేసే వితండవాదాలే చక్రవర్తి గారు కూడా సెలవిచ్చారు. వింటుంటే “నిజమేకదా” అనిపించేంత వాక్చాతుర్యం అది. కాని అందులో చాల లొసుగులు ఉన్నాయి. చక్రవర్తి వాదనలో నిర్లక్ష్యం చేసిన, కప్పి పుచ్చిన నిజాలు చాల ఉన్నాయి. ఆ నాణేనికి రెండవ వైపు చూపిద్దామని నాఈ వాదనను ఇవాల్టి (మార్చ్ 23 , 2012 ) MMGL లో ప్రసారం చేశాను. మీరు వినక పోతే తప్పక వినండి.

Looks like I have a good example to support my argument . BTW , the person who died is a colleague of my wife, we are still in disbelief.

The main issue with this argument is it does not fit India way of living. It holds good here in America that too in Bible belt or some remote Midwest place where only few folks live in their own secluded world. Next time folks get drunk in villages you will see gunshots.
Actually I take it back, I agree with Chakravarthy garu on a condition that all of the Indian citizens should go through a basic Do’s & Don’ts course of handling the gun in their respective police stations. After successful completion of the course every Indian should be sent to America to visit NRA head quarters here in DC Metro for undergoing further training about protecting themselves.
As a side note it would give us the DC residents good revenue. Here is another plan to revive US economy. Tourism !!!!! I would buy the Airline stock, what says Mohan garu ?
