Bringing the Criticism to the Guest on the Show

I faced some criticism for my interview with Manchu Lakshmi broadcast on TORi on March 11, 2011. On another occasion, I will write explain my philosophy and methods about how an interview should be conducted. But, for now I would say one thing – I am inspired by the way Jon Stewart does his interviews and I try to emulate his style in my interviews. Simply put – when you have a guest on the show, bring the criticism to the guest and put him/her on the spot to address it. A TV interview will give additional insight from the body language of the guest where as the radio interview has its limitations.

Watch Jon’s interview (another five star interview, in my opinion) with Fox news’ Brett Baer and judge for yourself on the quality of this interview and the manner in which he conducts it.
