Debt ceiling debate is over. Once again, Republicans won the fight (not the debate). Congress passed a bill that would have no “revenue increases” (Democratic euphemism for taxes) on the “job creators” (Republican euphemism for corporations on welfare, tax dodgers, and those who are in the top 1% of earners). Grandma on Social Security, tough luck. It is your fault that you chose to live this long. 🙂

Once again, the loud mouth Republicrooks prevailed over the Demorats, who run-away the moment somebody says “huth.” I am sure you are all familiar with the ‘lighting a cigar’ after “that” analogy. The Daily Show captured Bohener in a similar moment right after he and his Republigoon crowd did it to the American people. Priceless.

Where I stand on this issue? Spending cuts – yes. But, not without reverting Bush tax cuts.
