Introducing New Tharanga Logo

On the occasion of Ugadi, this new Tharanga Media logo was unveiled without much fanfare. Here is what the logo signifies.

The first musical note (ampersand) is a swan. The spine, and the (misplaced) wings are waves (tharangas). The tail is a surging ocean wave. The wavery font for ‘Tharanga’ signifies unstable nature of waves. Colors are that of tri-color Indian flag. The swan, which is resting on Tharanga with its spread wings is ready to soar.
